Why Videos?

Author Seth Godin wrote, "When we write a check to charity instead of looking the needy in the eye, we have helped their physical needs but shortchanged their humanity."

Human connection is a necessary part of charity.  The act of recording someone's story is an opportunity to look her in the eye and tell her not only that she has been heard, but that the world will hear too.
